Snow Plowing at Fire District:
Both the Town
to deny all bids and authorize the Village Maintenance to perform
removal at the Fire District for the 2017 cycle. All in

Fire District Budget:
Since snow removal is still the responsibility of the Townships/Village, the proposed budget did not change; therefore;
to approve the 2017 Fire District Budget. Mansavage
and Firkus abstained, all others in favor, motion carried.

After 10 years of displaying, the summer banners need to be replaced. An estimate was prepared by Display Sales as follows:
13 oz. 2 ply vinyl banners at 100.00 each for a quantity of 12
Digital custom printed on poly canvas are $164.00 each for a quantity of 12 OR $155.00 each for quantities of 25-49.
There is a
$60.00 set up fee
** It was suggested that we consider displaying the banners on the sidewalk side of the pole so they can be displayed at a lower lever, thereby eliminating the need for lift service.

The front tires of the back-hoe were purchased in 2012. A price estimate for replacements was presented by Gordy’s 66 Service in the amount of:
$332.50 per tire for a total of $665.00
Motion: Kurszewski/Anderson to purchase two front back-hoe tires from Gordy’s 66 Service for a total amount of $665.00. All in favor, none opposed, motion carried.
The library director agreed to meet with the Village regarding the proposed amendment to the lease agreement.
Motion: Anderson/Mansavage to appoint Kurszewski and the Clerk-Treasurer to meet with the library in reference to the lease agreement amendment. All in favor, none opposed.
The general consensus of the board is to allow him to carry over (no more than) 16 hours of unused vacation to the 2017 fiscal year.
